When considering your different options and traveling around major cities it is important to consider the environmental impact that you and your group may have throughout your travels. Whether or not it is a good idea to use a minibus hire as you travel depends on a few important details. First of all the most important detail is the group size of your group if you have only a few members in your group a minibus may not be the appropriate vehicle for you to use, as they tend to have worse gas mileage and personally owned vehicles. Having said this however it is important to note that if you have a large group say 10 or more people it may in fact be less impactful to the environment if you have only one vehicle even if that vehicle has less than average gas mileage.
So when comparing a minibus hire to using personally owned vehicles or rented vehicles it is a good environmental choice if you have a large group. But how does this compare to the use of public transportation? Transportation has a very low environmental impact in general and should be considered a good choice under most circumstances. At this point you will have to make a personal choice to balance between the importance of your impact on the environment and the convenience that having all of your passengers in a single minibus which takes you from point to point provides for you and your group. Whatever choice you make you can rest easy knowing that it was a considered choice.
